Midwest
Trauma-Informed
Training Center (MTITC)

Working with people, systems, and communities to make trauma-informed care standard practice

Our North Star

The Midwest Trauma-Informed Training Center aims to transform the landscape of health and human services by equipping professionals with the knowledge, skills, and support to provide trauma-informed care (TIC) as standard practice; fostering healing, resilience, and well-being for individuals, systems, and communities.

About MTITC

In response to community needs, HCET developed the Midwest Trauma-Informed Training Center (MTITC). MTITC makes in-person and virtual training, resources, and technical assistance in trauma-informed care available to health care and human services providers across the Midwest.

What We Do

MTITC provides comprehensive resources for targeted audiences, offers direct access to experienced Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and serves as a connector/convener for bridging relationships, breaking down silos, and establishing TIC as the expected standard for all.
