Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, Marion County Prosecutor’s Office
Valerie L. Harvey is the major felonies and sex crimes prosecuting attorney for the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, Juvenile Division. In addition to her role as prosecutor, Ms. Harvey provides outreach and education on teen dating violence to community youth and service providers in Marion County. Ms. Harvey has been with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office since 2021. Prior to Ms. Harvey’s role with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, Ms. Harvey operated a private practice and worked as an administrative law judge. Ms. Harvey has served as a board member for the Association of Social Work Boards and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Ms. Harvey is a graduate of Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence.
