Presenter
Dr. Alissa Conklin is an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Indiana University. She is also the Co-Director of the Generalist Division, the Medical Director of Coleman Clinic, and the Medical Director of Indiana University Health Midwifery. Additionally, she is the Co-Chair of the Women’s Health Task Force in Indiana Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative (IPQIC), a statewide collaborative aimed at decreasing maternal morbidity and mortality throughout the state of Indiana. She co-runs the subcommittee on trauma-informed care with Cara Berg-Raunick, DNP and has been practicing trauma-informed care for more than ten years, including the ‘gentle’ or ‘family centered’ cesarean birth.
Nursing Contact Hours
A total of 1.25* nursing contact hours will be available for this event. To successfully complete this activity, the participant must attend the entire session and complete the evaluation and Nursing Contact Hour Attendance Verification Form.
