Adolescent Reproductive Health

Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Adolescent Reproductive Health Project assists both governmental and nongovernmental organizations in increasing the capacity to implement science-based approaches to teen pregnancies, STDs and HIV prevention.

HCET's training and educational activities under this project include:

  • Conducting a region wide needs assessment.
  • Providing training opportunities in science based strategies through audio conferences, face-to-face trainings, institutes, and distance learning modules.
  • Promoting learning opportunities and sharing of resources by creating a listserv on adolescent reproductive health issues.
  • Conducting and assisting in program evaluations.
  • Providing technical assistance to organizations and coalitions, enhancing Adolescent Reproductive Health capacity building efforts.

If you are interested in our technical assistance services, including assistance in coordinating a workshop in your community, please contact Abby Hunt at ahunt@hcet.org or 317-247-9008.
